GETTING TO EARNSHILL

Earnshill Estate is situated in the county of Somerset in a village called Hambridge, near Curry Rivel. The full address is: Earnshill Estate, Hambridge, Langport, Somerset, TA10 0AX.

The nearest train station is Taunton, which has an excellent fast connection to London Paddington. From Taunton, you would need to pre-book a taxi to Earnshill.

We do not currently have electric car charging facilities.

There is space for guest cars in our dedicated car parking area for house guests. This is signposted as you come up the drive. If you are a staying overnight, you are welcome to temporarily park in front of the house to unload if required.

Absolutely - due to our rural location, all taxis must be pre-booked. If you are booking a taxi from the train station you could try Taunton Taxis (01823 248248) or TNT Taxis Taunton (01823 241122).

Not currently but adding a helipad is something we are considering for the future.

There are six double bedrooms and two suites, sleeping 16 in total (all ensuite with the exception of two bedrooms which share a shower room). All bedrooms are individually decorated to an excellent standard and include Egyptian cotton bedlinen and white fluffy towels.

We have two foldaway beds, suitable for young children (under 10). Please let us know in advance of your stay if you will require these so we can make sure they are available.

Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is by 10am. Early check-in and/or late check-out may be possible upon request, at an additional charge.

Our minimum stay is three nights. You are welcome to book a longer stay if you wish.

All bedrooms are accessed by stairs only so unfortunately are not suitable for wheelchair users.

All payments must be made by the lead guest. To ensure you are in complete control of who stays with you at Earnshill, we will ask you to allocate your guests to our bedrooms. If your guests are contributing to the cost of their stay, payment for this should be made directly with you.

We are a pet-free property. Should you require recommendations for kennels locally, please speak to one of our team and they will be happy to advise.

For special events, our walled garden can be pre-booked for guests wishing to camp overnight. Please get in touch to discuss this further.

The house has excellent WIFI, provided by Starlink. Speeds are typically 50-100 MB/s.
